“90210 star MEKIA COX was all set to be MICHAEL JACKSON’s leading lady during his THIS IS IT comeback shows.

The sexy actress/dancer, who plays DJ Sasha on the hit TV show, can be seen strutting her stuff in Jackson’s This Is It movie, in which she plays the King Of Pop’s object of affection as part of the rehearsed stage performance of The Way You Make Me Feel.

Tatiana Thumbtzen played the girl in the song’s 1987 video. Cox also plays a zombie bride in the Thriller segment of the new movie, which was pieced together from footage filmed during rehearsals in Los Angeles and intended for Jackson’s private video library.”

Let’s face it: No one can dance like Michael Jackson. That first televised moonwalk in 1983, the zombified swagger of the “Thriller” video, the coordinated gang face-off in “Beat It” — the list goes on and on, and is as long as it is impressive, as difficult to replicate as it is to comprehend.

With the documentary ‘This Is It’ due out soon, some who worked with Michael Jackson recall his final days.

Short of someone inventing Smell-o-Vision before Oct. 28′s global rollout of the feature documentary “Michael Jackson’s This Is It,” fans will never get to know one of the most visceral aspects of working with the King of Pop. “He had this amazing fragrance,” said Mekia Cox, one of 11 backup dancers who worked with Jackson between April and June on “This Is It,” his series of 50 sold-out concerts scheduled to start taking place at London’s O2 Arena over the summer.

The new 90210 has plenty of pretty young things, but for West Beverly’s sole black student Dixon (a.k.a. Tristan Wilds from The Wire), it’s damn near impossible to find a fine woman of color. Shit, they had Lauren London play a cheerleader on the show, but her character turned out to be a lesbian. WTF!

Beginning October 30th, the world will have a front-row seat for Michael Jackson’s final concert, as Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment release Michael Jackson’s This Is It.

This Is It is being produced with the full support of the Estate of Michael Jackson and will be drawn from hundreds of hours of rehearsal and behind-the-scenes footage, captured in high definition with state of the art digital sound as the late singer was preparing for his concert series in London. The film, which will also offer select sequences in 3-D, will provide a unique career retrospective and feature interviews with some of Jackson’s closest friends and creative collaborators.
